I have worked at a newspaper for 25 years so I have tons of print ads but I have an interview with a magazine publisher coming up. I have laid out a product catalog as freelance but don’t have an actual magazine like layout to put in my portfolio. What do you recommend in that type of situation?

Hi i tried to follow this, but it only renders one number per page, i have multiple tickets in a single sheet, and when i merge the data, an entire sheet is only for one number, next number is on the next sheet or page. How to solve this? Thanks 🥰🥰🥰🥰😊

Thank you for this! Question... I want to overlay my art work with a black texture. When I make an Opacity Mask, it turns my texture white. On top of that, my art work goes blank until I click "Invert Mask" and then I can finally see my art work again with the mask overlay. I just don't know what I"m doing wrong! Things that I do know - I'm trying to add a black half tone texture over my artwork. It is at the top of my Layers. Perhaps applying an Opacity Mask is not the right method? Help! Thank you!!

Does Illustrator allow you to repeat a shape on a path other than a circle???? I have wanted to repeat a shape on a freeform path or even a rectangle... can it be done??? I haven't seen any tuts that can show this... (I want to create a rope frame, or a chain frame, not as a circle but like a rounded-corner rectangle)

Great information. I have a degree in Landscape Architecture specializing in urban design, plus 13 years of work experience in resort design. I'm now taking a graphic design class at Noble Desktop and loving it ! Would a big company consider this alternative creative degree and background, or would it have to be specifically graphic design ? I'm probably more suited to freelance, but I was just curious.
